Below are our frequently asked questions however, if you can't find an answer to your query below please contact us and we'll be happy to help. 

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment online by clicking on the 'Book Online'menu at the top of the webpage. Services are split into: Groom by Breed, Teeth Cleaning & Nail Clipping and Puppy Grooms. 

How long will my appointment take?

Appointment lengths are detailed on the booking system when you select your service. The appointment may take longer if your dog is matted. We'll agree on a pickup time on arrival and you will be notified 30 minutes before your dog is ready for pickup.

Can I wait with my dog?

Unfortunately, you can't wait with your dog throughout their appointment. Dogs can be a little like children in the sense that they like to show off in front of mum or dad and make it harder for the groomer.

Will you feed my dog treats in their groom?

If you would like your dog to be fed treats throughout their groom please provide these upon arrival. We only use treats provided by you as you know what treats your dog likes and what/if they have any intolerances/allergies. 

My dog can be aggressive?

If your dog is aggressive please let us know on arrival as this may affect our approach and length of grooming time. A muzzle may be used as a last resort within the groom however, we will notify you if there are any problems throughout the groom and ensure your dogs welfare is at the forefront with all grooming decisions.  

Why do I need to pay a deposit fee?

To ensure we don't have last-minute cancellations and that everyone can get an appointment to suit them, a deposit which counts towards the total cost of your appointment is taken at the time of booking. 

 

If you need to reschedule you can do so via our website 48 hours before your appointment or by reaching out to us directly within this time period.

Is there parking and how do I find you?

We are situated within the Dog Grooming Hub on Daisy Lane. There are plenty of spaces along the road where you can park for up to 1 hour. I advise Pearson Lane as it's at the bottom of the hill so less of a workout!

Is it ok to feed my dog before a groom? 

We advise that you leave a gap of at least one hour between when your dog was last fed and their groom. Grooming can be quite exciting and stimulating for a dog which can lead to vomiting if they have eaten very soon to their appointment.
