Full Groom - Deshed

Deshed Grooms are for long & short double-coated breeds such as Pommerians, Chow Chows, French Bulldogs & Labrador Retrievers. This groom is perfect for breeds with the distinctive double coat that shed alot! Within this groom we aim to remove as much of that dead undercoat as possible. Double-coated breeds such as the ones mentioned shouldn't be clipped short as this can damage their undercoat. An outline trim enables them to be tidied and neatened without going into their coat.

Hand stripping is a grooming process that involves removing dead hairs from the coat by hand instead of clipping to keep the coat tidy and healthy. Handstripping grooms are perfect for breeds such as Spaniels and Terriers. It ensures that the colour and texture of the coat is maintained. The texture of wirehaired dogs will stay wirery if they have always been handstripping compared to if they have been clipped the fur can go fluffier. Handstripping is more costly than scissor & clipping grooms as it takes much longer to complete. There are pro's & cons for hanstripping vs clipping grooms which can be discussed prior to booking.

Puppy Groom

For dogs between 12 weeks - 17 weeks old

Puppy grooms are the perfect way to introduce your dog to grooming services. We build a bond with your puppy and use positive reassurance throughout the groom to ensure they have a great experience and positive association with grooming and salons.

Our puppy grooms are suitable for dogs aged between 12 weeks - 17 weeks old; dogs older than this will be booked for a full groom as from 4 months your puppy is larger, and will require body styling rather than just a hygiene trim. We advise taking your puppy for a session as early as possible so they can build up their confidence and familiarity with the environment and groomer.
