To cancel a booking please contact me within 48 hours of your booking (not doing so will result in loss of deposit)

2 / Late drop-off policy 

If you are later than 15 minutes to a scheduled booking, I may not be able to complete the full service, or the service may have to be changed. For example, a full groom may need to be changed to a bath and brush as I couldn't complete the styling within the limited time. If you are 25 minutes late your booking will be automatically cancelled and you will need to rebook your appointment. 

3 / Dematting policy

Dense matting always causes discomfort and it prevents exposure of the skin to sunlight and fresh air. It also causes sweaty areas, providing the optimum conditions for fungus, bacteria and parasites. If a dog comes for an appointment with dense matts that can't be combed out within 30 minutes, I will shave/clip off the entire coat. Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, a dog is within my care throughout its appointment and trying to comb through a large amount of matts is too traumatic and painful for a dog. I will take photographs of the matting for your reference prior to shaving/clipping. Your dog will feel instant relief once the matting has been removed. A fee of £10 will be added to any service that requires a  shave/clip off, as matts put a lot of pressure and damage on grooming equipment. To avoid matting, always comb your pets coat weekly before and after a bath. Shaving/clipping off is normally a treatment of last resort, and should never become a substitute for a regular groom. 

4 / Right to refuse

I have the right to refuse any dog, though this will most likely be under circumstances such as overly aggressive dogs, regularly missed appointments and regularly matted dogs. Please note, I do not groom any dog under the Dangerous Dog Act, this will include XL bully's in 2024. I am happy to work with owners to suggest other groomers for their dogs.
